Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that all power generation plants in Ukraine have been damaged by Russian attacks, at a time when Kyiv and its allies accuse Moscow of deliberately depriving Ukrainians of heating as temperatures drop.
Speaking at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, Zelenskyy said, “There is not a single power plant in Ukraine that has not been damaged by Russian strikes.”
Delivery of weapons for air defense systems
He added, “We sometimes manage to deliver new missiles for Patriot or NASAMS systems just before an attack occurs, and sometimes at the last moment.”
He called for accelerating the pace of weapons deliveries for the air defense systems that Ukraine has received from Western countries.

NASAMS
NASAMS (National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System) is a modern, medium-range air defense system developed jointly by Norway’s Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace and the United States’ Raytheon. Originally designed in the 1990s to protect against aircraft, cruise missiles, and drones, it has gained international prominence following its deployment to help defend Ukrainian airspace after the 2022 Russian invasion.
