Zaltan, February 14, 2026 – The Zaltan Municipality expressed its absolute rejection of the presence of any armed formations outside the framework of the state’s legitimate institutions, affirming its full support for the state’s security and military apparatuses as the sole entity authorized to maintain security and impose order.

This came in a statement following an expanded meeting held today at the municipality, which included notables and elders of the municipality, along with the dean and members of the municipal council, to consult on developments related to attempts to form armed groups within the municipality’s jurisdiction.

According to what was published by the municipality’s media center, the meeting participants called on all residents of the municipality to adhere to the law and not be drawn into any calls that could threaten unity or disrupt public security.

The attendees affirmed that Zaltan Municipality will remain a safe city with its people, cohesive in its social fabric, rejecting anything that would undermine its stability or endanger its citizens.
