Wahda Bank has announced a reduction in fees for financial transfers conducted through its electronic channels, including the Wahda App and the Wahda WhatsApp service.

According to a statement published on its social media page on Monday, the new policy applies to all transfers, regardless of the amount, with a flat fee of 1 per thousand (one dinar per thousand dinars).

The bank confirmed that the decision is now in effect, aiming to ease financial burdens, simplify transactions, and improve the customer experience with its digital services.

Wahda Bank is a major commercial bank in Libya, founded in 1970 with its headquarters in Tripoli. It was established as part of the country’s efforts to develop its national banking sector following significant economic changes in the late 1960s.

The Wahda App is a digital platform developed to facilitate access to various public services and information in the United Arab Emirates, particularly in Dubai. It was launched as part of the government’s “Smart Dubai” initiative to streamline processes and enhance civic engagement through technology.

Wahda WhatsApp

“Wahda WhatsApp” is not a recognized historical place or cultural site. It appears to be a reference to a group or channel on the WhatsApp messaging platform, which does not have a significant history as a physical location or cultural institution.
