A member of the Egyptian Football Association’s board of directors and head of the delegation in Morocco confirmed that the victory over the Ivory Coast national team represents the biggest reward for the players, given the immense joy it brought to the Egyptian people.

In televised remarks, it was stated that the national team delegation dedicates this victory to Mohamed Hamdy, a player for the Egyptian national team, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury, before he heads to Germany for the necessary surgery.

The head of the delegation pointed out that the Egyptian national team delegation will head to the city of Tangier tomorrow, Monday, in preparation to face the Senegal national team in the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The remarks concluded by emphasizing everyone’s desire for the presence of Egyptian fans to support the national team, clarifying that so far there are no official decisions regarding providing planes to transport fans to Morocco or specific coordination for their entry and attendance at the matches.
