Uruguayan international Federico Valverde, a star of Real Madrid, announced a state of maximum alert at the club following the team’s resounding 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad in the Spanish league on Saturday.

Valverde stated that Real Madrid has concluded its long preparatory phase and has effectively entered the decisive stage, adding: “We have worked for a long time for these matches and the remainder of the Champions League season.”

Real Madrid Proves Its Strength
He confirmed that the time has come to prove the strength of the “royal” club and to fight for victory in both the Spanish league and the Champions League.

The Uruguayan captain expressed his pride in the team’s defensive and offensive level against Real Sociedad, noting that Thibaut Courtois was brilliant as usual in protecting the goal, while the rest of the players successfully implemented the plan for defensive cohesion and prevented the opponent from moving freely between the lines, which made the match seem perfect from all aspects.

Regarding his shot that found the net, Valverde revealed that this goal is the result of exhaustion and extra hours of work with the technical staff after daily training to refine his shooting skills. However, he prioritized the team’s interest, saying: “The important thing is that the ball went in, and that is secondary. What matters most is winning, continuing this dynamic, and securing the three points.”
