The city of Tripoli is hosting the competitions for the first stage of the Libya Volleyball Championship finals. This is part of the Libyan Volleyball Federation’s schedule for the current sports season, within its efforts to organize a strong championship that ensures the highest levels of competition among the participating clubs.

An official decision has been issued to form a supervisory committee for the first stage of the finals. The committee’s formation includes a chairman, a deputy chairman, and several members, alongside the participation of the competitions committee and the referees committee in supervision and organization.

The first stage competitions are scheduled to be held in Tripoli using a round-robin format, with the top six ranked teams qualifying for the second and third stages of the finals.

While the second stage will be held in the city of Misrata, the city of Benghazi will host the competitions for the third stage. Both stages will be played using a round-robin format per stage, with points being aggregated to determine the final ranking and the champion teams at the conclusion of the tournament.

The Libyan Volleyball Federation hopes that this organizational format will contribute to raising the level of competition, ensuring fairness among the teams, and presenting a championship that reflects the development of the sport at the local level, amid increasing interest from clubs and fans.
