The Japanese company Toyota has seen intense activity in recent months with the launch of the crazy supercar GR GT, test drives of many new family-oriented cars like the Urban Cruiser and the modified bZ4X, and preparations to launch the all-new, fully electric C-HR+.
Car Price
The starting price for the new electric C-HR+ is £33,000, which is about £3,000 more expensive than the electric Urban Cruiser. Its price can reach up to £40,000 for higher trims.
Car Battery
The base trim of the car comes with a standard 57.7 kWh battery, providing a range of approximately 284 miles. The higher trim relies on a 77 kWh battery and achieves a range of up to 376 miles.
The standard trim is also equipped with 18-inch wheels, an 11 kW charger, and two screens measuring 7 inches and 14 inches in the car’s interior, along with synthetic leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel system, and two wireless chargers.
The higher trim of the C-HR+ comes with a larger battery, plus a power tailgate, tinted windows, and an option for 20-inch alloy wheels.
The top ‘Excel’ trim comes equipped with a 22 kW onboard charger, power-adjustable driver’s seat, upholstery combining synthetic and natural leather, an external parking camera, and additional safety technologies including a front traffic alert system and a lane change assist system.
Car Engine
The standard C-HR+ trim is equipped with a front-wheel-drive electric motor producing 165 horsepower paired with the smaller battery option. The larger battery is connected to a front-wheel-drive motor producing 221 horsepower.
