
Tripoli, February 06, 2026 – The General Command announced today, Friday, the commencement of the operational project “Storm 1” in the Bir al-Ghanam area, under the supervision of the Libyan Army’s Training Department.
The project involves officers from the 55th batch, a company from the Western Coastal region, a company from the Western Mountain region, and a number of military units.
It was confirmed that this project comes within the framework of raising the level of coordination and operational efficiency, enhancing readiness, and supporting the capabilities of units belonging to the Ground Forces, as well as preparing officers through practical training in their technical specializations to carry out assigned tasks.
