Al-Ittihad defeated Al-Swehli three sets to one in the match held between them at the Grand Hall in Tripoli this Wednesday, as part of the sixth round of the Libya Volleyball Championship finals. This victory strengthens Al-Ittihad’s lead at the top of the standings, with 18 points, marking their sixth consecutive win.

Al-Ittihad secured the first two sets in their favor 25–21 and 25–23. However, Al-Swehli won the third set 25–22, but their comeback was short-lived as Al-Ittihad won the fourth set 25–15.


In another match, Al-Jazeera achieved its first victory in the Libya Volleyball Finals by overcoming Al-Afriqi Zliten after a ‘marathon’ match that extended to five sets. Al-Afriqi Zliten won the first two sets 25–23 and 25–23, but Al-Jazeera responded by winning the third and fourth sets 25–23 and 25–16, leading to a decisive fifth set, which Al-Jazeera won 15–7.
