Al-Jamil, January 25, 2026 – The medical team of the “Nour Libya” convoy, affiliated with the Tripoli Eye Hospital, continues to conduct examinations and surgical operations at Al-Jamil General Hospital. This humanitarian initiative embodies the values of social responsibility and solidarity in serving patients.
The convoy began conducting examinations and surgeries at a rate of 100 cases per day, targeting 400 cases from the city of Al-Jamil and surrounding areas.
Sources at Al-Jamil Hospital clarified that the number of cases examined and provided with necessary interventions is approximately one hundred per day, bringing the total number over Saturday and Sunday of this week to about two hundred cases.
Two medical teams participated in providing these services: one working in the outpatient clinics for examination and follow-up, and another inside Al-Jamil General Hospital responsible for performing eye surgeries.
Residents of Al-Jamil city expressed their great happiness with the presence of the medical team from the Eye Hospital, highlighting its significant importance and the distinguished services it provides in the field of ophthalmology and eye surgery.
