The Tobruk Distribution Department of the General Electricity Company announced that the partial power outage and collapse of the electrical grid in the city of Tobruk is due to a shortage of supply from the Tobruk power station, resulting from a lack of fuel.

The department confirmed that the matter is beyond the company’s control, noting that operating teams are monitoring the situation and will work to resolve the crisis as soon as fuel is available to ensure grid stability and restore service to subscribers.
