Tripoli – February 5, 2026 – The President of the Presidential Council received, on Thursday at the Council’s headquarters, the Mayor of Al-‘Uqaylat, accompanied by a delegation of the municipality’s dignitaries and elders.

According to the media office, the meeting discussed a number of issues related to Al-‘Uqaylat Municipality and its pivotal role in supporting the national reconciliation process led by the Council President. They also discussed a range of service-related files and ways to enhance the city’s rights and meet its needs, contributing to improving the level of services provided to citizens.

The office noted that at the end of the meeting, the delegation presented the Council President with a commemorative shield on behalf of Al-‘Uqaylat Municipality.
