Tripoli, January 10, 2025 – The President of the Supreme Council of State held an expanded security meeting on Saturday at the Al-Marqab Security Directorate to discuss and review the security situation in the region, alongside addressing security issues related to enhancing stability and reinforcing public safety.

The meeting, attended by the Director of Security for the Al-Marqab Security Directorate, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department at the Directorate, the Head of the Services Department at the Directorate, and a number of officers, examined the efforts made by the security agencies of the Al-Marqab Security Directorate in maintaining public order and controlling lawbreakers.

During the meeting, the President was also briefed on the capabilities available at the Directorate and its needs for additional support and resources to enhance security performance.

He emphasized the importance of raising the level of readiness and preparedness among the security agencies, ensuring the security and safety of citizens, and protecting public and private property. He stressed the necessity of enhancing coordination and integration among various security units to contribute to achieving security and stability in the region.
