Ras Jadir – The security directorate of the Ras Jadir land crossing confirmed this morning, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, that two-way traffic from the Libyan and Tunisian sides is proceeding normally and regularly, with no significant waiting times or congestion recorded.

The directorate clarified that the border crossings are operating at full capacity, and that customs and security procedures are being carried out smoothly, ensuring the free flow of movement for passengers and goods between the two countries.

This announcement comes at a time when some areas in Libya are experiencing weather disturbances that have affected air and internal road traffic, while the Ras Jadir crossing has continued to operate normally, confirming the stability of the border situation between Libya and Tunisia.
