Tripoli, January 25, 2026 – The head of the Government of National Unity met today, Sunday, with a delegation from the Saudi oil and energy company “Ajyāl,” led by its board chairman, on the sidelines of the company’s participation in the fourth edition of the Libya Energy and Economy Summit.

During the meeting, the company’s delegation confirmed its intention to enter the Libyan market and invest in the energy sector, outlining its areas of operation, which include exploration and production, oil services, and energy project development, in addition to providing technical and technological solutions to support the sector’s development.

For his part, the head of government emphasized that the Libyan market is open to all investors and major global companies, within the framework of an economic policy based on openness and building strategic partnerships. He affirmed the Government of National Unity’s commitment to providing an attractive investment environment based on transparency and equal opportunities, which contributes to the transfer of expertise and modern technologies and the development of the oil and energy sector.

This meeting follows an official government delegation’s visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which it met with the Saudi Energy Minister and held a series of meetings with major Saudi companies, most notably “Aramco,” to discuss opportunities for cooperation and joint investment in the energy field.
