TRIPOLI, February 08, 2026 – The High National Elections Commission inaugurated its central vote counting and tallying center at its headquarters in Tripoli today, Sunday.

The Commission stated that this opening is part of the regulatory procedures for the post-voting phase, following the receipt of ballot result forms from the municipalities of Tajoura, Sayyad, and Al-Hashan, where the voting process took place yesterday, Saturday, February 7, 2026.

The center’s staff have begun entering and verifying data according to the approved technical procedures and standards, ensuring the highest levels of transparency and accuracy in recording the preliminary results.
