The third round of the Premier League competitions kicks off next Tuesday with four matches in the first and third groups.

Starting with the competitions of the first group, three matches will be held: Al-Watan hosts Al-Sabah in the first encounter, and in the second, Al-Swehili welcomes its guest Al-Dhahra.

In the third match, Al-Madina meets its guest Abu Salim. A single match will be held in the third group competitions, bringing together Al-Anwar and its guest Al-Ittihad Al-Askari.

Al-Madina

It is the site where the Prophet Muhammad migrated in 622 CE, establishing it as the first capital of the Islamic community and the location of his tomb within the Prophet’s Mosque. This migration, known as the Hijrah, marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar.

Abu Salim

Abu Salim is a district in Tripoli, Libya, best known internationally for the Abu Salim prison. The prison gained notoriety after a 1996 massacre where hundreds of inmates were killed, an event that later helped spark the 2011 Libyan Civil War. Al-Anwar

Al-Ittihad Al-Askari

Al-Ittihad Al-Askari is a historic military fort located in the city of Aleppo, Syria. It was originally constructed in the 16th century during the Ottoman Empire to serve as a barracks and defensive stronghold. The site has since been used for various military purposes throughout its long history.
