Gharyan, December 27, 2025 – The Gharyan Municipal Council announced the suspension of work in government offices and all sectors within the municipality’s jurisdiction, including educational institutions, for tomorrow, Sunday. This is a day of mourning for the souls of the martyrs and in preparation for the funeral ceremonies for the late martyr, Major General Engineer (Mahmoud Jumaa Al-Qatwi), son of the city of Gharyan. The funeral prayer will be held after the noon prayer on Sunday at the Gharyan Sports City.
The Gharyan Municipal Council had announced yesterday, Friday, that the funeral prayer for the deceased, God willing, will be held next Sunday directly after the noon prayer at the Gharyan Sports City.
