Tripoli, January 31, 2026 – The Ministry of Health of the Government of National Unity confirmed the readiness of all health facilities and emergency teams to deal with any emergency cases that may result from these weather conditions.

The ministry emphasized in a statement the necessity of immediate communication with the central emergency room of the Health Emergency Department to direct ambulance teams and coordinate the transfer of the injured in case of any emergency.

The ministry also appealed in its statement to citizens and residents to take caution and avoid direct exposure to strong winds, especially for patients with respiratory conditions, the elderly, and children, while adhering to the necessary preventive guidelines.

It also stressed the importance of following instructions issued by the relevant authorities through official channels, according to the statement.
