Tripoli, January 10, 2026 – The Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade confirmed that the campaign launched to regulate prices and goods in the local market has achieved positive results, with a noticeable decrease recorded in the prices of essential goods.

He explained that this decrease has become tangible for citizens in the local market, as some goods have seen a price drop exceeding 30%, reflecting the campaign’s impact on the ground.

He indicated that the campaign is ongoing and will include all cities and regions across the country, confirming that the work is carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations and laws. This is done by monitoring the approval lists for each product and each beneficiary trader, ensuring transparency, discipline, and stability in the local market.
