Tripoli, December 23, 2025 – The Libyan Ambassador to Sudan met today with a delegation from “Tarko” Airlines to coordinate and discuss the launch of flight routes between Libya and Sudan, following the approval expressed by Libyan authorities to resume air travel between the two countries.
According to information published by the Libyan Embassy in Khartoum on its official page, the flights, scheduled to begin in January of next year, will operate via Port Sudan and Benghazi international airports, once all necessary legal and administrative procedures are completed.
The embassy confirmed that the meeting – with the company delegation, which included the Director of External Relations and International Cooperation and the Legal Advisor – takes place within the framework of fraternal relations and Libya’s supportive stance towards its Sudanese brethren in light of the current crisis their country is experiencing.
