Tripoli
Tripoli is the capital and largest city of Libya, located on the country’s Mediterranean coast. Historically, it was founded by the Phoenicians in the 7th century BC and has since been ruled by the Romans, Arabs, Ottomans, and Italians, serving as a major port and cultural crossroads. Its historic core, the medina of Old Tripoli, contains significant architecture from these various periods.
Libyan Olympic Committee
The Libyan Olympic Committee was established in 1962 and is the national governing body for Olympic sports in Libya. It has faced suspensions and challenges due to political instability and international sanctions throughout its history, but it continues to coordinate the country’s participation in international sporting events.
Equestrian School
The Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria, is a traditional institution dedicated to preserving the classical art of Haute École dressage. Founded in 1572 during the Habsburg monarchy, it is famed for its performances with the Lipizzaner stallions. It remains one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious riding academies, operating continuously for over 450 years.
Airport Road
Airport Road is a major thoroughfare commonly found leading to and from airports in cities worldwide, serving as a critical transport link for passengers and cargo. Historically, these roads are often developed or significantly upgraded concurrently with the airport itself to improve accessibility and stimulate economic growth in the surrounding area.
