Tripoli, January 07, 2026 – The law enforcement administration of the General Department of Security Operations carried out the evacuation and removal of encroachments, illegal buildings, and structures on the Al-Khiyar Palace agricultural project this Wednesday.

The administration clarified that these actions were carried out in implementation of the instructions from the Public Order Prosecution and were conducted in cooperation with the coordinator of the agriculture and livestock sector in Al-Khiyar Palace, the Agricultural Police apparatus, and the project management to accurately determine the project’s boundaries and area.

It added that upon completion of the evacuation and removal works, the farms will be returned to the beneficiaries according to the signed contracts.

All legal procedures regarding the incident have been taken, and a detailed report has been prepared and referred to the Public Order Prosecution to take the necessary legal measures.

The administration had previously identified the violating buildings and structures, notified their occupants of the necessity to evacuate, and carried out the removal today in accordance with the issued instructions.
