Lamine Yamal, the winger for Barcelona and the Spanish national team, has won the “Maradona” award at the Globe Soccer ceremony in Dubai, in recognition of his exceptional skills as a promising young player.

The ceremony was attended by major stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, and tennis player Novak Djokovic.

This honor adds to Yamal’s previous achievements, having recently been crowned the best Under-23 player in La Liga, further solidifying his status as one of the most prominent rising talents in world football.

In addition to the award, Yamal received a luxury “Jacob & Co. Bugatti Tourbillon” watch, valued at approximately $340,000. The watch features a miniature replica of the Bugatti W16 engine unit, which moves like the real engine when a button is pressed, in an extremely limited design with no more than 250 pieces in the world.

After receiving the award, Lamine Yamal said: “Last year I was the kid who had just started, but now there is pressure as an important player for the club and the national team, and thankfully everything has gone well.” He added humorously when asked about his personality: “Nothing, at home my mother is the one who decides.”

This recognition confirms that Lamine Yamal is not just a promising talent, but has become one of the standout stars of the new generation in football, with a bright future awaiting him at both club and national team levels.
