Kia intends to launch a new version of the K4 Sports Wagon with a striking appearance, aiming to increase sales of the car in Britain and Europe in the hatchback segment, while adding more interior space.

Car Price
The Korean brand will announce the car’s features and official selling prices in Britain and Europe shortly before the official launch event. Its price is expected to be slightly higher than the current model, which is 26,000 pounds sterling.

Car Design
The K4 Sports Wagon is 4695 mm long, making it one of the longest in its class, and is 60 mm longer than the Cupra Leon.

The trunk capacity is 604 liters, an increase of 166 liters compared to the hatchback model. However, although the K4 is longer than its main rivals, its capacity is slightly less than the Cupra’s load space.

This may be due to the attractive design of the K4 Sports Wagon, which features more flowing lines than the already stylish hatchback, while the trunk capacity reaches 1439 liters with the rear seats folded down.

Great care and precision were also placed in designing the exterior body of the Sports Wagon, which features distinctive touches like hidden door handles and aluminum side panels.

Two design options will be available: the basic ‘Air’ model and the bolder ‘GT-Line’ model, which features a more aggressive front and rear design, larger wheels, and a sporty interior.

Car Engine
Kia will offer three engine options at launch, starting with a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 113 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, with the addition of a mild hybrid element.

A more powerful 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 148 or 176 horsepower will also be available, with a standard seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, plus a full hybrid option later.

While the K4 Sports Wagon will be available with front-wheel drive, the company has not yet confirmed the possibility of launching an electric or diesel-powered variant.
