There have been moves from Italian club Juventus to reclaim their former winger Federico Chiesa, a player for England’s Liverpool, during the upcoming winter transfer window.
It was explained that Juventus has shown official interest in signing Chiesa in January, as part of their effort to strengthen the team’s attacking line with an element capable of making a difference on the flanks.
It was stated: “Juventus is showing its official interest in signing Federico Chiesa in January, in order to add a winger to the squad, and Chiesa is a preferred option for the club.”
The decision lies with Liverpool and the player
It was indicated that the deal is still in its early stages, confirming that the final decision will rest with Liverpool’s management and the player himself, as there is no official agreement yet regarding the future of the Italian international.
It was added: “The final decision is up to Liverpool and the player, as the matter is still in its early stages.”
Chiesa’s journey between Fiorentina, Juventus, and Liverpool
It is worth noting that Federico Chiesa, (28 years old), joined Liverpool in the summer of 2024, coming from Juventus, after a successful spell with the ‘Old Lady’.
Chiesa began his football career with Fiorentina, before moving to Juventus in the summer of 2020 on loan, with the purchase clause being activated after two seasons, prior to his move to the English Premier League.
