Benghazi, December 16, 2025 – The Arabian Gulf Oil Company announced it has held a series of technical meetings with a number of global companies specializing in oil services to discuss joint projects and support production capacity using the latest technologies.

In a statement, the company said it is “working to expand its technical partnerships with major global companies, which contributes to improving operational performance and increasing production rates in accordance with the highest standards adopted in the oil and gas industry.”

It was explained that the company held an expanded meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Management Committee with a delegation from the global company SLB. During the meeting, existing joint projects were reviewed, and the exploration and production operations carried out by the company for the Arabian Gulf Oil Company were discussed, along with exploring future cooperation prospects and ways to develop integrated projects using modern technologies.

It was noted that during the meeting, the Chairman of the Management Committee praised the performance level of SLB’s integrated project management, confirming the quality of the work and services provided and the positive results achieved, which have been reflected in the progress of operations in a number of fields.

In the same context, it was reported that the Chairman of the Management Committee held another meeting with the management of Lorasco for Drilling and Oil Services, dedicated to discussing opportunities to enhance technical and operational cooperation, reviewing ongoing work and projects, in addition to discussing the development of oil services provided in the company’s fields.

It was added that Lorasco presented a detailed overview of its services in the areas of operations and technical support, confirming that its technologies and equipment are derived from the expertise of the global company Baker Hughes, with its full readiness to support development projects aimed at increasing production capacity and enhancing operational efficiency.

It was also revealed that a third meeting brought together the Chairman of the Management Committee with Halliburton, during which ongoing operational processes in various fields and sites were reviewed, and future work programs focusing on improving drilling operations, developing production methods, and supporting fields with modern technologies were discussed.

It was confirmed that these meetings “reflect the serious direction of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company towards adopting advanced technological solutions, as a fundamental pillar for achieving operational sustainability and optimal use of resources, keeping pace with the requirements of the next stage and enhancing the company’s position in the Libyan oil sector.”
