The deal for Al-Ahly Bank’s winger to move to Al-Ittihad Alexandria club is now threatened with failure, after Al-Ahly Bank club demanded 5 million Egyptian pounds to agree to loan the player to the “Leader of the Thaghr” for 6 months until the end of the current season.

Al-Ahly Bank club welcomed the idea of Youssef Waheed’s departure in January due to his exclusion from the plans of the technical staff led by Ayman El-Ramady, but its financial conditions could disrupt the completion of the deal, as Al-Ittihad club refuses to pay 5 million pounds to loan the player for only 6 months.

Officials of Al-Ittihad Alexandria club have entered serious negotiations with Al-Ahly Bank winger Youssef Waheed to sign him on loan during the upcoming winter transfer window in January, in order to strengthen the ranks of the “Leader of the Thaghr” in the second half of the Egyptian League competition. Al-Ittihad Alexandria is looking to sign top deals during the winter transfer window to strengthen its squad and address deficiencies in positions the team suffers from, especially in the forward line, in order to compete for a top position in the league table.

Al-Ittihad Alexandria club is awaiting the stance of the Enppi duo, Ahmed Sobhia and Mostafa Shakeshak, on joining the ranks of the “Leader of the Thaghr” next January, to strengthen the team during the winter transfer period.
