Exchange rates in the official Libyan market recorded a slight decline in the dollar price and a fluctuation in several foreign currencies against the Libyan dinar on Wednesday, according to data from the Central Bank of Libya.
The average exchange rate of the dollar against the Libyan currency rose to 6.4159 dinars. According to the currency table announced by the Central Bank of Libya, the average exchange rate of the euro was 7.2958 dinars, and the British pound was 8.5476 dinars.
Regarding Arab currency exchange rates, the Saudi riyal was recorded at 1.7091 dinars, while the UAE dirham was 1.7468 dinars, and the Tunisian dinar was 2.1674 dinars.
The Turkish lira and Chinese yuan against the Libyan currency were recorded at 0.1356 dinars and 0.9473 dinars, respectively.
This fluctuation in the official dollar price coincides with the Central Bank continuing to open electronic booking systems for letters of credit and personal purposes throughout the week to meet the increasing demand for foreign currency.
