Tripoli, December 31, 2025 – The General Electricity Company announced today, Wednesday, the dispatch of a shipment of tension chains and conductor accessories from its warehouses in the city of Al-Qarabulli. This is part of completing the works to connect the Al-Hababiya power station project at a voltage of “220 kV” to the public electricity grid in the Ain Zara area.

The company explained, in a post on its official page, that this shipment is designated to complete the assembly and installation works of the second tower, within the project to connect the new Al-Hababiya station to the public grid.

The company added that the project will contribute to improving the level of electrical voltage, raising the efficiency of the grid, and enhancing its stability, which will positively reflect on the electricity supplies in the areas south of Tripoli.
