Tripoli – The Trade Data and Information Center of the Libya Trade Network, affiliated with the Ministry of Economy and Trade, issued the daily local bulletin of basic commodity prices in Libyan markets for February 19, 2026, which included the prices of vegetables and fruits per kilogram in the local market.

The bulletin showed a variation in vegetable prices. The price of first-grade onions reached 3.5 dinars, compared to 2.5 dinars for second-grade. Tomatoes recorded the same price for both first and second grades. Potato prices ranged between 4 and 5 dinars per kilogram, while the price of green hot and sweet peppers was 7 dinars, and red peppers were 6 dinars.

Regarding fruits, Italian apples were priced at 25 dinars per kilogram, compared to 15 dinars for Turkish apples. Banana prices ranged between 12 and 13 dinars. The price of pears reached 28 dinars, kiwi 35 dinars, mango 20 dinars, while avocado reached 40 dinars. The bulletin also included dates prices, with Deglet Noor dates at 14 dinars and Sa’ibi dates at 6 dinars.

The bulletin confirmed that prices may vary slightly from one area to another, according to supply and demand conditions in local markets.
