As part of the events of the ‘Liwa 444 Book Fair’ in its second edition for the year 2026, a cultural discussion session titled ‘Children’s Literature in the Cultural Scene: When Adults Write, Children’s Identity Takes Shape’ will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, after the afternoon prayer.
The session will address the status of children’s literature in the cultural scene, its role in shaping early awareness and building cultural taste among younger generations, in addition to discussing the most prominent challenges and prospects associated with this literary genre.
On the sidelines of the session, a signing ceremony will be organized for the new book ‘Where Do the Sparrows Go?’, a publication directed at children. The signing ceremony will take place at the ‘Imkan Publishing House’ pavilion within the fair, in an open space that allows the public the opportunity to meet the author and view the work up close.
