Tripoli, February 07, 2026 – The Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Resident Coordinator visited polling centers in Tajoura today.

The visit welcomed the peaceful start of the voting day and the initial positive impressions of the experimental biometric system, which is considered an encouraging step towards enhancing the credibility of the local elections.
