The Libyan Football Federation, through its Competitions Organizing Committee, has announced the program for the second half of the 2025/2026 sports season. This includes the match schedules for the Libyan Premier League and the rounds of the Libyan Cup, in a timeline stretching from February to June.
The season begins with the Round of 32 matches of the Libyan Cup during February, before the resumption of the Premier League competitions to complete the second half of the season. The rounds will continue at a regular pace throughout March and April.
April will witness crucial matches with the Round of 16 and Quarter-finals of the Libyan Cup held in parallel with the continuation of the league rounds, reflecting significant pressure on clubs in the race for competition.
As for the month of May, it will be dedicated to the stages of the Premier League’s top six, leading up to the Semi-finals of the Libyan Cup. The competitions will conclude in June with the holding of the League Final and the Libyan Cup Final, enhancing excitement and motivating fans to follow the season until its end.
It was noted that this schedule aims to organize the season and ensure the regularity of competitions, serving the interests of clubs, enhancing technical competition, and giving players the opportunity to showcase their levels and elevate the overall football standard in the country.
