On Wednesday and Thursday, a two-day cultural competition was organized at ‘Uqbah ibn Nafi’ School. The event was overseen by a judging committee.

The activities witnessed wide participation from pupils and youth in various fields, including poetry recitation, expressive reading, and creative writing, alongside knowledge-based segments aimed at promoting a spirit of challenge and teamwork.

Members of the judging committee explained that “these initiatives contribute to refining the student’s personality and developing their linguistic and intellectual skills,” noting that education goes beyond transferring knowledge to include nurturing creativity and critical thinking.

The organizers also praised the efforts of the school administration and teachers in making the events a success, which provided students with an opportunity to showcase their talents before a specialized committee—an experience that boosts self-confidence and motivates them to pursue excellence.

The competitions concluded with honoring the winners and distributing certificates of appreciation, in a scene that reflects cooperation between the school and the local community and highlights the importance of such initiatives in building a conscious and creative generation.
