Al Kufra, February 8, 2026 – The Criminal Investigation Department branch in Al Kufra managed to apprehend three Sudanese nationals who were slaughtering dead cattle and cutting them up for the purpose of selling the meat within a farm belonging to the Sudanese community.

The department stated that a report was received by the Information Gathering and Investigation Unit indicating the presence of Sudanese nationals slaughtering dead cattle and preparing it for trade. Subsequently, unit forces raided the location and arrested three Sudanese nationals in the act.

The department confirmed that the individuals were taken and handed over to the Municipal Guard for jurisdiction and to complete the necessary legal procedures.
