Al-Zawiya, January 27, 2026 – The Youth Decision Foundation held a coordination meeting with the Libyan Red Crescent Society, Al-Zawiya branch, to enhance community cooperation and support youth initiatives.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen partnership and joint coordination between the two institutions, in addition to organizing training programs and courses aimed at developing youth skills and building their capacities. It was agreed to schedule a training course in public speaking, due to its role in developing leadership skills and promoting effective communication.

Both sides also emphasized the importance of unifying efforts among civil society institutions and supporting volunteer work to empower youth and enhance their positive participation in serving the local community.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their satisfaction with the level of understanding and consensus that prevailed in the discussion, affirming their commitment to continuing coordination and joint work to implement the agreed-upon programs, which serve the aspirations of youth and enhance their role in community development. They also stressed the importance of sustaining the partnership between civil society institutions and working to launch quality initiatives that contribute to building youth capacities and instilling the values of giving and volunteering in the city of Al-Zawiya.
