Washington, February 3, 2026 – The senior U.S. advisor for Arab and African affairs revealed that last week in the French capital, Paris, he once again brought together senior officials from western and eastern Libya.

In a post published on platform X this Tuesday, it was confirmed that fruitful discussions were held regarding the continued support for Libyan efforts aimed at achieving national unity and establishing long-term stability, in line with the broader peace agenda.

It was stated that these Libyan efforts are essential for Libya to thrive and build a prosperous economy and a promising future for its people.
