All external power supplies to the Ukrainian Chernobyl nuclear plant were cut off on Tuesday morning due to intensive military operations, according to an announcement made via platform “X”.

“Assessing the impact of the situation on nuclear safety”
It was stated that “the Chernobyl plant has lost all external electrical supply, and power lines leading to other nuclear plants have also been affected”.

It was added, “The situation is being closely monitored to assess its impact on nuclear safety.”
