The Arabian Gulf Oil Company has successfully restored the L-028HR well at the Al-Sarir field to production following the completion of a comprehensive technical development program.
The well’s daily production capacity has reached 2,200 barrels of crude oil, along with 350,000 standard cubic feet of gas.
The development work involved mechanical and electrical tie-ins, wellhead maintenance, and valve replacement, ensuring the well is prepared for production in accordance with the highest technical standards.
The well was originally drilled in August 1982 and had previously served as an observation well. The decision was made to develop it to support the National Oil Corporation’s strategies and to increase overall production.
