
Tripoli, February 8, 2026 – The head of the Government of National Unity issued Resolution No. (49) for the year 2026 regarding the disbursement of an exceptional Ramadan grant of 1000 dinars for retirees whose pensions do not exceed 1500 dinars.
According to Article Two of the resolution, the specified financial grant is to be paid from the surplus of monthly social security contributions at the Social Security Fund. The Ministry of Social Affairs is tasked with following up on the implementation of the resolution and preparing a comprehensive report regarding the numbers of beneficiaries and the amounts disbursed.
Article Three of the resolution called on the relevant authorities to implement it from the date of its issuance.
