The United States announced on Friday that it has seized an oil tanker that sailed from Venezuela, the fifth it has detained for attempting to breach the embargo Washington imposes on Caracas’s crude exports in recent weeks.
“The tanker (Olina) was another vessel in the ghost fleet suspected of transporting prohibited oil and was seized after sailing from Venezuela, attempting to evade U.S. forces.”
