Tripoli, December 21, 2025 – The Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Nigeria expressed hope to benefit from Libya’s experience in the social field and to apply the best social programs to enhance community stability and support sustainable development paths.

This came during her meeting with the Minister of Social Affairs of the Government of National Unity on the sidelines of the Arab Summit of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

During the meeting, the Minister reviewed Libya’s experience in social protection policies, programs supporting the most vulnerable groups, women’s empowerment, and child welfare, alongside efforts to develop social services and improve their efficiency.

The two sides also discussed prospects for joint cooperation and benefiting from successful experiences in the social field.

Modern Jordan gained independence from British administration in 1946 and is known as the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
