Al-Ittihad club has concluded the first stage of the Libyan Handball League competitions at the top of Group One. This follows their victory in the postponed match from the second round of the return stage against Al-Olympi, which was held at Al-Zawiya Hall, with a score of 24 to 23.
Al-Ittihad qualified for the second stage of the Libyan Handball League competitions by leading Group One, alongside Al-Ahli Tripoli, which came in second place, and Al-Olympi, which occupied third place. Al-Jazeera club will also face a decisive match against Benghazi Al-Jadida club, the fifth-place holder in Group Two, to determine the eighth qualifier for the second stage of the competitions.
In Group Two, Al-Najma club qualified as the group leader, while Al-Ahly Benghazi (Al-Qarayounis) came in second. Al-Nasr qualified as the third-place holder and Al-Hilal by occupying fourth place.
Al-Jazeera club, the fourth-place holder in Group One, will face a decisive match against Benghazi Al-Jadida club, the fifth-place holder in Group Two, to determine the eighth qualifier for the second stage of the competitions.
