Tripoli – January 28, 2026 – Al-Haruj Oil Operations Company announced the commissioning of the new well “B-120” in the Amal field, with an estimated production capacity of approximately 1,800 barrels of oil per day. This follows the successful completion of drilling and connection operations at a depth of 10,210 feet.
It was confirmed that the commissioning of the well is an important milestone within the company’s targets aimed at increasing production rates. This achievement embodies the practical commitment to implementing the directives and plans of the national oil corporation, which aim to enhance production and ensure its sustainability.
It was explained that the work teams were able to overcome a number of technical challenges that faced the drilling and completion operations, thanks to proper technical planning and continuous teamwork. Praise was given for the role of national personnel across various oil fields and sites.
