Tripoli, February 4, 2026 – The official in charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, met today, Wednesday, with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Guven Begec.

During the meeting, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, views were exchanged on a number of issues of mutual interest.

The two sides discussed prospects for enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries, in a way that serves common interests and strengthens diplomatic cooperation ties between Libya and Turkey.
