On Tuesday, Al-Ahli Tripoli announced the signing of Egyptian player Mostafa Shokshok from Egyptian club ENPPI, to strengthen the ranks of its first football team.
Shokshok played 13 matches for ENPPI during the current season. Since being promoted to the first team, he has played 131 matches for the petroleum club across various competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 6 decisive assists, according to Al-Ahli Tripoli’s page on Facebook.
Al-Ahli Tripoli and Al-Swehli draw goalless
The Al-Ahli Tripoli team, leader of the first leg in Group One, returned with a precious point from Misrata City Stadium after a goalless draw with host Al-Swehli, in the matches of the final round of the first leg of the Libyan Premier Football League “Dawrina”.
The match saw few chances, though the advantage leaned towards Al-Ahli Tripoli, who had the most precious opportunity in the first half when their striker Azzo Al-Marimi missed a certain goal.
With this draw, each team earned a point, bringing Al-Ahli Tripoli’s tally to 23 points, leading the Group One standings. Al-Swehli’s points rose to 19, placing them second in the group standings, with a four-goal difference from the leader.
