Zawiya, January 3, 2026 – The Zawiya Agricultural Police Branch participated in an afforestation campaign at the University of Zawiya, embodying cooperation between various sectors in the city and raising awareness about the importance of afforestation and its role in protecting the environment.

Also participating in the campaign, during which hundreds of various types of seedlings were planted, were the president and members of the Zawiya Central Municipal Council, the Libyan Organization for Environment and Climate, the Zawiya Agriculture Sector Coordinator, and members of the Zawiya branch of the Red Crescent.
