Tripoli, January 20, 2026 – Abu Salim Club announced today the termination of its contract with Tunisian coach Afwan Al-Gharbi by mutual consent between the two parties, without disclosing additional details regarding the reasons for the decision.

In the same context, the club confirmed its official contract with Tunisian coach Samir Shamam to take over the technical leadership of the team in the upcoming period, as part of the administration’s efforts to reorganize the ranks and achieve positive results in the forthcoming competitions.
