Moaz Shifter, a member of the executive committee for the sports law, stated that the law becomes effective and binding immediately upon its issuance and publication.

He emphasized in a statement that the role of the Ministry of Sports during seminars is for awareness, explanation, and clarifying implementation mechanisms, and is not a prerequisite for its enforcement to begin.

This statement came in response to numerous inquiries about the reasons for the delay in implementing the sports law two years after its issuance, as it has not yet been officially put into effect.
